School Opening Hours and Contact Information

Long Lawford Primary School is open to the children of key works, and vulnerable children.  From Monday 15th June Long Lawford is open to Reception children on a fortnightly rolling programme.  From Monday 22nd June Long Lawford is also open to Year 1 and Year 6 on a fortnightly rolling programme.

School is open Monday - Friday from 08:45 - 15:00. The school office will be open during this time and calls will be answered by a member of school staff.  When coming onto school site, we ask that all parents adhere to our one-way systems.

To book your child in (if it is absolutely necessary for your child to attend, and they cannot be safely looked after at home), you will need to complete a weekly booking form.   Booking forms are automatically emailed out to all parents who have registered for this service at the beginning of each week to book for the following week.  If your circumstances have now changed and you are now eligible to register for this service, please contact the school office on to request the link to the weekly booking form. Please also state your key worker status when requesting the link.


Returning to school in your child's class bubble

Long Lawford has sent out a survey to all parents in Reception and Years 1 and 6.  On this survey you can indicate whether you intend to send your child back to school or not.  If you change your mind about sending/not sending your child back to school, please contact the school and request a call-back from SLT.

If you are in receipt of Free School Meals, please ensure you apply to this scheme before 17th April.  Applications made after this date will not be processed.  This scheme provides 6 weeks worth of support and will be back dated to 23rd March 2020, regardless of when applications are made (up until 17th April).  

The Warwickshire’s Local Welfare Scheme helps the most vulnerable residents at times of unavoidable crisis by providing essential help for food and energy. Families who are struggling financially and need help with food or energy (gas/electric) should contact the Warwickshire’s Local Welfare Scheme on 0800 408 1448 or email

Parents and carers can contact Warwickshire County Council if they have any concerns or queries having sought a solution with school or for information as the network of provision changes over the weeks ahead. Please use the parental helpline on 01926 412021 from 09:00 to 17:00 or check the council’s website for further information.

Our Nursery admission administration had been delayed due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.  This information has now been shared with families.
