School Opening Hours and Contact Information

Long Lawford Primary School is open to the children of key works, and vulnerable children.

School is open Monday - Friday from 08:45 - 15:00. The school office will be open during this time and calls will be answered by a member of school staff.

To book your child in (if it is absolutely necessary for your child to attend, and they cannot be safely looked after at home), you will need to complete a weekly booking form.   Booking forms are automatically emailed out to all parents who have registered for this service at the beginning of each week to book for the following week.  If your circumstances have now changed and you are now eligible to register for this service, please contact the school office on admin2405@welearn365.com to request the link to the weekly booking form. Please also state your key worker status when requesting the link.

Welfare

If you are in receipt of Free School Meals, please ensure you apply to this scheme before 17th April.  Applications made after this date will not be processed.  This scheme provides 6 weeks worth of support and will be back dated to 23rd March 2020, regardless of when applications are made (up until 17th April).  

The Warwickshire’s Local Welfare Scheme helps the most vulnerable residents at times of unavoidable crisis by providing essential help for food and energy. Families who are struggling financially and need help with food or energy (gas/electric) should contact the Warwickshire’s Local Welfare Scheme on 0800 408 1448 or email warwickshirelocalwelfarescheme@warwickshire.gov.uk.

Parents and carers can contact Warwickshire County Council if they have any concerns or queries having sought a solution with school or for information as the network of provision changes over the weeks ahead. Please use the parental helpline on 01926 412021 from 09:00 to 17:00 or check the council’s website for further information.

Admissions

Our Nursery admission administration has been delayed due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.  This information will be shared with families as soon as possible.  Admissions via the Local Authority will go ahead as normal, and the Local Authority will continue to communicate with families.  If you have any queries regarding Nursery Admissions, please email school direct on 01788 543332 or email admin2405@welearn365.com.  Any admission enquiries for Reception up to Year 6 please contact admissions at Warwickshire County Coucil.

Complaints

During closures, schools cannot process any complaints.  Therefore, and complaints made or 'paused' during this time of closure will resume within the normal procedure upon schools re-opening (when advised to do so by Central Government).  Click here for a link to the guidance.
